but this show is even better! im listening to the whole 1977 year of shows straight thru back to back and so far i have to say the march and first n.e. leg of tour were awesome and a little more out there, and then buffalo was pretty dope but from st. paul on its been outta this world. also on the whole, every night is basically the new best show with this year/tour so far.
this dancin is fuckin sick. keith is on the moog which he hasnt been for the dancin jam since like the first one back in like march and its so dope. suppppper pretty peggyo, beautiful hoppin ror, lazy lightin rips, fotd is super pretty jer vox and choppy groovy reggae with a country twang.
second set is not a super out there psychedelic set but bangin. great bobby vocal jam on good lovin, first real fleshed out one of the year. sunrise is pretty. donna sounds great all night. estimated is fat tonight. and then i think the prettiest morning dew yet with a rippin sugar mag encore.
five star grateful dead

The name caught my curiosity so I looked it up. Found this:
Concert problems
An "acoustical nightmare"
Despite hosting well-known musical acts, the Sportatorium was notorious for poor acoustics.[19] Roger Waters described the Sportatorium as a "real compromise" because there was no other venue in South Florida at the time.[19] At one concert, Billy Joel reacted to the echo by calling the facility an "acoustical nightmare".[20]
Ironically, numerous bootleg recordings of concerts from the Sportatorium by bands such as Pink Floyd, Rush, Ambrosia, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and U2 remain sought after. In addition, one of the Grateful Dead's most critically praised live performances ever took place at the Sportatorium on May 22, 1977, most of which was commercially released in 1995 as Dick's Picks Volume 3.

No offense but an old review from 09 is incorrect about songs on the CD.
See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick%27s_Picks_Volume_3
Mistakes happen but surprised no one caught this.
I am a fan of 5/19/77 Sugaree.

I even enjoyed Sunrise.
This show is superb.
The Wharf Rat into Terrapin without Lady With A Fan works well, and the Estimated is one of the tightest ever. Jerry is playing inspired lines throughout. This one in my opinion outshines Cornell.

Subject: First set listed out of order
I have listed the songs as they play on my computer. I don't know if they play in this order for everyone but I did read another comment complaining that the songs played out of order for them. Enjoy!
1Funiculli Funiculla
2 Rambling Rose
3Dancing in the Streets
4 The Music Never Stopped
5 Sugared
6 El Paso
7 Peggy-0
8 New Minglewood Blues
9 Freind of the Devil
10 Lazy Lightning
11 Supplication
The second set is as listed. This show is one for anyone's collection of 1977 Grateful Dead. A brilliant performance and a nice recording make for a 5 star show.

I've been looking forward to jamming to this on the anniversary, but the setlist is right but the songs play out of order for me. What's up?

(The lowest rating's for me not doing my homework)
Add to my previous list Minglewood, Ramble On Rose, Brown Eyed Women, and Good Lovin'! Still, I stand by how I feel about DP 3.

Subject: Awesome Killer Show!
Subject: Awesome Killer Show!
This show is the fucking shit! Without a doubt, this is the best show of 1977 (except maybe the 5-7-77, 5-8-77, and 5-9-77 shows at Boston Garden, Cornell University, and Buffalo Memorial Auditorium). Then again, all the May 1977 shows are awesome!
Help on the Way -> Slipknot! -> Franklin’s Tower is easily a top-3 of all-time, and one could argue this is the best sequence ever performed! Wharf Rat, Terrapin, DEW, and then Sugar Magnolia for the encore is about the best ending to a show you can get! The band is totally on, and Garcia is in a class by himself, when it comes to this amazing show!
Dick’s Picks Vol. 3 only released 8 songs from Pimbroke Pines:
1. El Paso
2. Peggy-O
3. New Minglewood Blues
4. Friend Of The Devil
5. Ramble on Rose
6. Brown Eyed Women
7. Good Lovin'
8. Sugar Magnolia
Try to find the others on-line somewhere! Virtually impossible… Guess what? I have the entire concert burned on CD. Before speedingarrow.net was shut down, I was able to download every other song from this concert. Consequently, I have all 24 songs from this incredible mind-blowing concert!!!!! And the quality and clarity of these songs is second-to-none!
Doesn’t get any better than this, everybody! This is the show that everybody wants, but that most people don’t have.
If you want this show, feel free to contact me and we can trade, or something. I’d be happy to burn this show, in exchange for another rare show that you may have that I don’t have.
Check out my other reviews from other awesome Grateful Dead shows!!
